Productivity+™ Active Editor Pro

Tool settingProductivity+™ Active Editor Pro can be used to generate probe routines for part set-up, tool setting, broken tool detection, in-process feature inspection and post process reporting: all of which are vital to maintain control of your manufacturing process.

Import an existing machining program into an Active Editor Pro session, then add probe routines and machine updates - without the need for on-machine editing. Features and co-ordinate systems can be selected directly from the imported CAD model(s), reducing probe cycle generation to a simple 'point and click' operation.

Generate multiple co-ordinate systems on a single component, extending compatibility to a range of 3, 4 and 5-axis machine.

Create and measure 'virtual' features using the enhanced Constructed Features function. Points, circles and planes can be generated from previously measured features. As calculations for these constructed features are performed on the machine tool itself, the potential for PC communications issues is eliminated.

Incorporate additional functionality into probing routines by using the Custom Macro option, whereby NC programmers can embed macro programs and custom calculations into probe cycles and report on the results.

Visualisation allows generated probe routines to be simulated on-screen, identifying potential probe/machine collisions: increasing confidence in your programming and reducing prove-out times.
