Special EMO Hannover web site offers free entry tickets

To help visitors in their planning for EMO Hannover (17th – 22nd September), Renishaw has created a special website that gives full details of its activities at the show, useful links, and for a limited period offers a free entry ticket worth €27.

Renishaw focussed on speed of manufacture at EMO Hannover 2007, with a range of new products that will help businesses to reduce process times whilst maintaining quality in a wide range of machining and measurement applications.

The site contains full details of these new products, including a new compact laser interferometer measurement system, a tool recognition system for fast broken tool detection, a new compact high accuracy touch probe for complex on-machine measurement, a new cable-less tool setter, and the revolutionary REVO™ five-axis measuring head and probe system which is improving inspection throughput levels by up to 900% on CMMs.

For designers within the machine tool industry visiting EMO Hannover, the RESM angle encoder is ideal for high-speed feedback on machine tool rotary axes, and is now available with FANUC serial communications, whilst for applications that require the highest accuracy, the REXM angle encoder offers better than ±1 arc second total installed accuracy.

EMO Hannover is widely seen as the world's flagship trade show for metalworking and related technologies. This year, there was  expected to be over 2,200 exhibitors from 40 different nations and 200,000 visitors from all over the globe.
